These are the days...

practice makes perfect!

Happy Monday! We thought about venturing to the Children's Museum today, but I just didn't feel like we were well enough to venture out. It's a good thing we stayed home. Poor Mia was out of it all morning and I finally took her temperature and it was almost 103 degrees. Poor thing. We got her hooked up with some Tylenol and she's been a brand new woman this afternoon. Since we didn't venture out, Kelly and Hannah decided to come over and play. We've had a delightful quiet day at home, enjoying the immense sun shining in the windows and warming us up. The sun is bright, but it's still only about 20 degrees outside. Brrrrr!

We started out the week with our traditional Super Why and Tea date. Then, I decided to try and remove car seat covers for the wash. What an ordeal! One of the carseats actually requires a screwdriver and removing eight screws in order to take the cover off to be washed. fun times! After some fun playing puzzles and singing songs, we ventured out to visit Papa Thomas at Bi-Mart. After that endeavor, we took Tyler to the Dollar Store to pick out a treat. He picked out a bag of bubble gum and was thrilled to come home, eat his lunch and pick out his favorite bubble gum color! He has since informed me that he doesn't like the bubble gum but I think he's full of it!

After quiet time, we had some fun hitting balloons around the living room and Tyler practiced his Yo Yo. He is very diligent in his practice and won't quit until he knows how to do it. He's a determined little fellow!

Josh is home sick today, trying to sleep amidst the chaos and right now, Kelly is finishing up her home made bread and getting ready to head home. In fact, I should go help her get ready! I'll write more later if I get the chance. We've got a little friend coming over to play in a few minutes, so that may keep me busy the rest of the evening!

I did take a few other pictures that were in the running for today's blip. Click Here to check them out!

We had a successful evening with our little friend Kaya. She was definitely a Joshy's girl once it got close to bedtime. We ate one of our favorite foods tonight.... Sweet Potato Fries! Delicious!
