These are the days...

Miss Mia Jolynn

Well, this picture is slightly deceiving. This was taken shortly after a nice warm bath (one of Mia's favorite things) and after a good dose of Tylenol that dropped her fever back down. She's finishing up day 2 with a fever as we speak. We'll see what the night brings. I'm not sure what to make of it. The rest of us are fighting off this cold, that also had a fever, but only for a short while. Mia doesn't hardly have any cold sympoms left, but she's getting this fever that just knocks her out. Poor thing.

So, alas, today was another day spent fighting various bugs floating around here. I will be so so happy when all sickness leaves the house! We did venture out this morning for bible study and we had a good time. Mia wasn't so sure about it but she survived just fine. After our morning adventure, we came home, had mini corn dogs for lunch, rest time, and then had a nice long bath. The kids love bath time. Today, Tyler was a real scientist in the bath. He was exploring how different objects sink or don't sink. and some of them actually flipped over after sinking to the bottom and this was a very intriguing occurrence!

We did have a brief time when I was distracted on the computer and the kids were doing art, which is normally fine. However, somehow, Tyler got a hold of a permanent marker and was coloring like crazy with the thing. His latest thing is making sure he colors all the way to the edges of the paper. Well, because of this, there was permanent marker all over the desktop. argh! it was an innocent mistake and we jumped on it fast enough to remove it. But, it was a near disaster!

Bible study today was very interesting and I'm continually amazed at all the information that is to be gained from the Bible. However, I'm more and more aware how much studying needs to occur to actually understand the various time frames and events and how they all relate together. We are studying the book of Daniel and thus far, after three chapters, I've learned SO much. So much history, detail, and thought provoking topics. It's been a true blessing. Not to mention getting to know a few more people, which is something I really need in my life!

Well, we are starting to have melt down central and we need to get those precious babes in bed. and hopefully, Josh and I will have a snuggle date and watch a few more episodes of 24. Season 4, here we come! Goodnight BlipLand!
