Twenty-three...

...centimetres, at 13h00, so I was reliably informed.

A snow day for us all...no trains running out of town, schools closed...teenage boys that have eaten all the bread and eggs and not a lot more of them to be purchased in the shops.

That said...I had poor colleagues trying to run a Get Out The Vote operation in Clackmannanshire today...challenging conditions to try and persuade voters to get out in and cast their vote in a local government by-Election. Es used some of her snow day today to call into the area and do some GOTV on the phones. I manage these operations through our online system...so she would appear every so often and ask...how far are we through now:-)

It snowed on and off for most of the day. The Rooster was out this morning clearing paths again but there was a good couple of centimetres on them again this evening. That said it will make the job a bit lighter tomorrow. He made a good job of them.

Grateful for a warm home in these chilly conditions and hoping those less fortunate find space in one of the shelters or Churches that have opened their doors.
