Mono Monday - My Ugly Mug

A Mono Monday theme of "ugly" is not easy. Ugly is a difficult word itself, because it is so subjective. What is ugly, if beauty is in the eye of the beholder? I can't remember quite when I bought this mug. It's from the Guernsey Pottery and I bought it there, and that was the holiday when I first flew - out of Cardiff to Jersey then on to Guernsey in a Britten-Norman Trislander. Gods, but that was a noisy induction into air travel! I guess therefore it was about 1976.
