The Punk Look

The gardeners were in TH Platz today .human.paid and some tiny avian unpaid .It made my day to see two Starlings up here  racing around the grass (today very much thawed out ).These are the first I've seen outside of Alexanderplatz .This bird has a punk appearance due to a dip in a puddle near to the fountain. Love the speed with which they move .Not the best of images due to shaking wet feathers but I like it and it serves as a record that they are back in Charlottenburg.Compared to the Crows they are so tiny.. #This is also a good place to add a footnote for blippers who are  bird watchers. Have just been disturbed  to read an article as to why it's OK to 'hate' Starlings .Nasty word 'hate'  OK they were introduced to US  by some human.Why hate the bird ? It had no say in the matter. Just as it is with Canada Geese here in Europe. Some human introduced them and now many  dislike them.Why ?. If Nicholas Lund of Audubon reads blip take note. I very much doubt the birds had a say in their fate. In Europe we like Starlings .Pity we can't repatriate them. They deserve better .Where ever an animal or bird is not wanted or deemed alien , you can be sure humans are responsible . Really tragic.
