Song Thrush.

The weather has meant that we are seeing a few birds that we know are around but rarely see, such as the wren and the hedge sparrow; then we have a few strangers visiting the garden. There has been a pied wagtail here regularly for the last month and now. the snow has brought in this song thrush. I put out half an apple for him this morning; he promptly appeared and chased all the blackbirds away from HIS apple, and then buggered off for the rest of the day.
