Clemmie

We had a walk in the Shropshire Hills today with old friends from aeons ago at university who have moved fairly close to us. They were responsible for getting us completely hooked on Springers so a blip of their latest sweetheart, Clemmie, seemed appropriate. She is appropriately filthy and loved all the delicious sniffs in the heather. Poppydog was a bit ploddy by comparison ... but she is 12!!

Beautiful low cloud hanging in the valleys below (extra) and still quite a bit of snow in some places where it obviously had drifted deep.

After a hearty pub lunch it was back home to the heap of ironing and found the old TV version of Pride and Prejudice with Mr Firth to soothbthe smoothing iron.

Long discussion with LD about their wedding plans. Blimey, not nearly as simple as it used to be in the old days (I'm talking my era!).
