A winding path

Sunshine and blue skies today. I went swimming around lunchtime, then was rather surprised when Roger returned from work about 3.30 - he said things were really quiet at work, so thought he would leave early and enjoy some sunshine! So we went for a walk at Glenwood Gardens. In the early evening we were out at an event at church - dinner followed by a performance by the Sycamore Community Band. When we got home we watched the film Gandhi on Netflix. We had seen it when it came out, but that was many years ago now -1982  - and we hadn’t seen it again since. I still think it is a remarkable film, especially considering when it was made, before all the clever technology they have these days, and of course so brilliantly acted by Ben Kingsley.  It made for a rather late night, but we can always have a lie in tomorrow!
