WWT London: Craze-y Emperors

More infatuated in large.

Last time I visited, this foursome of adorable young emperor geese were totally fixated on my mother's boots; today, they had found The Stick... *sigh* They're painfully cute characters, and make such a range of sweet chattering, cooing, and lowing noises.

It was very, very wet at the wetlands and my camera's viewfinder fogged up un-cooperatively, but it was still a jolly diversion. I'll upload a Flickr album anon once I've sorted through the pics (DONE: see below), but this stuck in my mind, so it'll do for my blip choice.

Others are on Flickr here (or right from here).
Some favourites:
Ring-necked parakeet taking off from line
Otters covered in hay
White-headed duck zooming
White-naped cranes drinking
Black spur-winged goose snoozing
Lapwing in flight
Plumed whistling duck drinking
