Kaikoura

Got up early to explore the headland which is supposed to have a seal colony and to catch the light from a different direction.  Saw one fat old seal on the boardwalk- (extra). Climbed the headland.  Great views in all directions but no more seals in evidence. Jumped in the car and drove to Blenheim for a wine tour. I thought it was a vineyard tour. It turned out to be a wine tasting tour - 4 wineries, 4 or 5 wines in each. The coach bought us back to the B&B and we will be walking out for dinner tonight.  It's a good job  we did the early morning headland walk because the vineyard shots are non existent. No I did not want my picture taken looking through a  frame with  Spy Valley Wines written on it. The Spy Valley wine was excellent though. We bought some.
