Simon and the sausages

For two decades Simon has been selling us sausages, and other meat, from this counter at Crombie's on Broughton Street. This morning he posed for my blip when we called in to pick up some chicken and bacon.

The trip to the butcher, and then to the supermarket afterwards, was my expedition today. Otherwise I have been pottering around the flat and fielding phone calls from my oldest childhood friend, my middle sister, and my parents. We've also watched another episode of Breaking bad, and I will resume my position on the sofa again soon for some more reading.

I'm surviving well without painkillers. Chocolate is the ideal substitute ;-)

Exercise today: post-surgery exercises and walking (5948 steps).
