West Dulwich

Thank you all for the blip wishes yesterday and on my backblip that marked my five years. It's much appreciated.

It's been a dreich day in South London, but it was made happier with the arrival of Fred and Simon at West Dulwich station. They'd enjoyed a weekend in Canterbury with 15 others, celebrating Simon's stag. He's getting married in a couple of weeks. The guys had had fun and not many of them got drunk. This was a very civilised stag do, much to Simon's relief.

This mural is on the side of West Dulwich station and features a few famous faces who must have something to do with the area or perhaps something to do with the areas to which the trainline travels. I see Charles Darwin is on there. I'm not aware of a Dulwich connection, but Down House isn't too far from Bromley, which can be reached from West Dulwich. Tenuous?
