Goodbye Ottsjö

This is the only picture I took today, so by definition it's today's blip.
We packed up, cleaned up and left Ottsjö before 10 o'clock because a real storm was forecast for later in the day, ad before it arrived we wanted to be on the main road heading home.
It was already very windy with snow in the air and the distant mountains disappearing as the clouds lowered and snow showers blew along the lake. Our newly dug out veranda was slowly disappearing too, as new snow settled on it.
It was a long day's drive, partly because it's a long way and partly because we stopped off with friends twice on the journey. By the time we got home it was dark and we were very tired. We dug out the path from the snow that had fallen from the roof, emptied the car, and unpacked all our stuff, ready to pack for the next trip in a couple of days!  Then we ate a very simple meal and collapsed into bed.
