Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

3 for a paddle

Rain was predicted today but it turned into a lovely day.   We even thought about getting our rowing boat out but it’s a lot of work for one or two rows and it made me tired to think of it.  And a little bit guilty not to do it.  Enjoying working on a jigsaw and finished the 6th Outlander book of almost 1000 pages..now reading another “island” book  ..a Jo Nesbo.  Knitting started too.   Always photo projects.   Almost have the latest book done…We did have a trip in our motor boat to the car at the marina on Galiano with a load of “deathcleaning” stuff from here.   (yes, everywhere there is too much stuff….so little by little we’re sorting through… today mostly books and H’s old classic bike and rollers that has been here forever…what were we thinking?  that we needed MORE execise?)   Since we were out with camera then we took a mini cruise north to some islands where there are often lots of birds and seals.  Today, only a seagull where an eagle likes to perch.  I’ve been working with the charts in the studio today too so THIS is that little island (on my other journal)…

On the way back this kayak passed us and I could NOT resist those two dogs out for their own mini cruise!   They live on the next island north ..The big one is “Mijo”  He’s been blipped before… Not sure about the little one’s name.  Sphinx Island in back (that structure is a salt water wood fired hot tub with ladder into the sea)   and then Saltspring Island behind.
