The second half of life..

Wet!

A little rain on the way to work had turned into a deluge after just 90 or so more minutes.  Kids and staff navigated their way around trying to keep out of the rain as much as possible but for most, they were drenched within seconds.  A seriously large amount of rain - w-a-y more than we saw when Cyclone Gita visited us a few weeks ago, caused floods across the field, through corridors and around buildings.  Drains couldn't cope and the surface water was therefore forced to travel over the ground, wherever gravity took it.

It eased up almost as quickly as it sprung up - just dribbles and showers for the remainder of the day.
