Clocking off after a long shift...

Well that was a long shift - not just today but the last three weeks and a day, since we introduced the UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill and asked the Parliament to treat it as emergency legislation.

Tonight it passed its final stage by 95 votes to 32. The equivalent legislation in Wales, introduced on the same day, also passed this evening by 39 to 13.

So 75% of all members in the two devolved parliaments voted to rejecte the current UK plans in their EU Withdrawal Bill.

Time for a UK rethink.
