The Old Forge (Monday 26th March 2018)

The Front Yard is starting to be woken up after a long, long winter sleep. As well as the primroses, there are new Dorset cobbles and oyster pearl stones. I splashed a bit of water about to enhance the look of the pebbles.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
The Pretenders - Room Full Of Mirrors (recorded 1986)
Chrissie Hynde's version of Jimi Hendrix's song was on the Pretenders' album Get Close, but if memory serves it had been on a compilation album that was full of Hendrix covers before that. This extended version was on a 12" single and I heard it today on the bonus disc of a deluxe reissue of Get Close, and features the guitar of Robbie McIntosh.
