For Julie

A few months ago, Julie brought a lovely gloxinia when she came to see us. It had two flowers. After they died, there was a new shoot, so I cut back the old one and, in due course, we had two flowers.

This time the new shoot grew tall and there are about 10 flower buds. Three are out right now, so I had to photograph one to show just how beautiful it is. Thank you Julie.

I had a relatively quiet day today, with domestic bits and pieces, plus a visit to two supermarkets in Hexham.

Since I fell asleep last night before 9pm, we are now going to see University Challenge from Monday.
