Haley's Comet

I'm going to go to the Whipple Observatory tomorrow, so I did a bit of a dry run up to the visitor's center so I'd know where I was going.

This artist's rendering of Haley's comet was at the center.  I thought it was cool.  

The observatory is at the peak of Mt Wrightson, the second tallest peak in the Santa Rita mountains, at about 8530 feet.  I'm looking forward to tomorrow, but I'll have to get up early.  No rest for the weary...
