WAITING FOR LISA

We waited and waited for Lisa,
Our lovely hairdresser. 
She said she’d be here at “10ish”
But when she hadn’t arrived  by 10.35 
I sent a cheeky text
To say “Guess 10ish 
might be more like 11ish today”.
I felt foolish when she responded
“Your appointment’s tomorrow!”
Oh dear - better have a coffee,
A couple of chocolate eggs 
And a read before
I do some housework - 
or go and have a lie down! 
If my calendar started 
On a Sunday
Instead of a Monday
I wouldn’t have made that mistake!
