Sgwarnog: In the Field

Arbor

For the first sunny day in I don't know how long the kids and I elected for an excursion to Harrogate.

Valley Gardens were incredibly busy so we didn't spend too much time in the playground, but we managed a round of crazy golf, visited the kiwi sculpture to be reminded of our time here with Blip Bear and Kiwi (almost exactly five years ago) and then walked back into town through the arbor with it's impressive shadows. I've elected for this shot with the cleaner lines, but I liked one with a big gnarly vine too (extras).

After visiting the gallery 13yo started to feel a bit unwell, so we walked back through town to catch the train home. Unfortunately whatever is bugging 13yo decided enough was enough and he was sick a couple of times before we made it home (sorry fellow passengers and train crew) and a few more times since. Whether it was his lunchtime tuna panini or a bug of some sort it's too early to tell, but the poor lad is in for an unsettled evening.
