Autumn

This afternoon I had a need to go to the bottle store !!  
A four day excursion is starting at sparrows fart on Monday morning. We are heading south with friends, so rightly in the evenings lubrication is required :) 
Called into the Botanical Gardens on way home, the colours gorgeous, the shadows long but was disappointed that the mowers had been working and scooped up most of the fallen leaves.
Bottled the pears this afternoon and started to get organised for the Monday departure as tomorrow we are heading up to Christchurch for our besties 50th wedding anniversary celebrations.

I'm thinking I'll be rather absent from the blipping scene until next Friday.
