I took some time this afternoon to head to the Boulder Bank. I was surprised to find a mass of terns lounging around on the exposed low-tide rocks. Well - not really lounging - it was more like an orgy! I guess it's tern mating season. It was good to see some of them were still interested in eating though;) (See smaller pic top right)

And interspersed with the terns were a few regular gulls. They were behaving themselves though.

Back to work tomorrow - why are weekends so short?
