If you can't beat them...

Primula denticulata

The morning was spent (unusually for me) wandering round town shopping.  I don't generally do shopping Clickychick says it is faster and easier when I am not there!  However there were one or two things that needed my input.

The afternoon and early evening was as usual spent with Kanyl.  Wandering round his garden the Primula denticulata (Drumstick primula) were flowering well.  They self seed all over his garden, but then again most things do for him.

Being a native of the Himalayas denticulata does well in non alkaline soil which doesn't dry out in summer.  Being native to mountain meadows and light woodland they can grow under shrubs.
