Brimham Rocks

I spent a couple of hours at Brimham Rocks (near Ripon) for an afternoon of ‘landscape photography’ run by the National Trust.

It was basically a photography walk - ‘follow the leader’. There were about twenty in the group - so the biggest challenge was to get shots with no photographers in! I did hang back a bit from the main group so things weren’t too bad and I quite enjoyed it. A bit of ‘me time’.

Moss and lichen were very much the order of the day - from moss covered tree trunks, lichen covered rocks, lots of brown, fifty shades of green, a bit of blue sky and this wonderful tree growing out of the rocks (which looks better on Flickr).
