Plum Blossom

The blossom in our garden, on the Blackthorn and the fruit trees is later than usual, even for our frost hollow garden. Today’s picture is of the blossom on one of our younger trees; a plum variety called Opal. The sky really was that colour.

Despite the sunshine and blue skies it was quite chilly as it was also windy.
