Book club

Postponed for a week already, the person who was to have the book club and discuss the book (the Pigeon Tunnel, by John Le Carre) had to cancel due to a flood in her house- rather a catastrophe!    We decided we couldn’t do the book without her input so some of us would just go out to lunch.  There were an enthusiastic 6 who could do this yesterday.  Today we were 4 for lunch. ( the other two had pressing issues come up today..)   We 4 had a lovely time, talking books and everything else,.   I rather liked this happy picture of M and M in the restaurant so here they are.  Afterwards, D and I went for a walk in the Arboretum (extra) as it turned into a great day…and there are some new trails….but the azaleas and rhodys need a week or two more to bloom I think.   These 3 ladies are all 80 (or almost)   And they are all talking CAMP this year!!   :-)   Every day is a gift.
