The M60 crossing The Mersey

The walk along the Mersey from Didsbury to Stockport is not the most picturesque walk in England - but it is quiet and a far nicer option than walking along the roads.  Until you get to the bridge which carries the M60 motorway over the river (and the footpath) - when it is very, very noisy!
