These chairs are rather sad

I spent a lovely time in the garden watching many insects delighting in the blossoming of the plants in the sunshine. More flowers have bloomed and buds are bursting out on trees and shrubs.

I caught sight of one of the neighbour's two ginger cats lying in the dappled shade of the old garden furniture on the verandah of her shed. I spotted it when my eyes followed a butterfly as it flitted about and then ignored the fence to explore the other garden, and then it flew back. I didn't have time to follow it and catch it in flight, which was what I was trying to do with the other insects.
