Tulips

We enjoyed yet another warm and sunny day and I even managed to spend some time in the garden without sneezing and streaming this afternoon.  This morning I spent some time putting back various items in the (now redecorated) hall, while keeping an eye on the TV to watch the London Marathon.  This year was the hottest ever for this event but this didn't stop some incredible performances.  David Weir won the Men's wheelchair for the 8th time and Mo Farah, who came 3rd in the Men's, achieved a new British record.  Also achieving a first, was Zeus09smum's son, who successfully completed his first ever marathon.
My blip is a rather hasty shot taken early evening of a couple of tulips, still hanging on over a week after I used the bunch for Flower Friday.  I do think that these flowers look beautiful in every stage from fresh to fading. 
Just looked at the blip from exactly a year ago, when we were waiting at Melbourne International airport at the end of our family trip to Australia.
