Building Sn3 and N Worlds

New "horse" for the UP

Today I received a new locomotive for the N scale layout.  It is a Union Pacific GE Tier 4 GEVo C45AH.  Lots of letters.  DO I need another?  NO.  But why not? This is a very new locomotive in the real world, which meets the US Tier 4 environmental requirements.  That would be pre-Trump.  I ordered it from ScaleTrains.com.  These guys are something else.  The level of detail on the model is unbelievable.  I mean, cut levers in N scale!  Scale railings.  Correct paint.  Every bump and sign that is on the real loco is on the model.  And, it has DCC Sound as well thanks to a LOK Sound decoder.  OK - I am a total train geek but the sounds were recorded from a real GE Tier 4 GEVo C45AH locomotive and it sounds great.  How these guys make a model with this level of detail in N scale at the price point they have is amazing.

And it pulls like a mother.
