Shoes on the Danube Bank

An important memorial to the killings of Jews by the Arrow Cross militia in Budapest during the latter months of the Second World War.

In the morning, we walked down the Danube to the Chain Bridge and then back to the flat. The afternoon was just chilled, after an excellent lunch at the Kiskakukk, and then the evening was at the Budapest Jazz Club seeing a band that was probably a bit "poppy" for us, but overall was quite pleasing.
