Running a bit behind with blipping and very behind with commenting and reading.

At lunchtime, we headed into the centre of town to our hotel, but not without a scare involving being stuck in the lift at IP's place for half an hour or so, until we were rescued by the lift engineers.

After a rest in the hotel, I headed in for the introductory session, and then went off for a large dinner on a boat with all of the other attenders. It rained later on,  but a kind Norwegian colleague procured a taxi and saved us from waiting for the bus and a wet walk through the city.
