Air Plants

We found ourselves near a garden centre in our barrio today that we hadn't been in for a while. On our last couple of visits it had been closed and seemed to have opening hours that didn't correspond with the opening hours on the door. Anyway, we got in and found out that it's not the big garden centre it once was but they've changed their focus and now specialise in events and only had a few plants, including these air plants, which don't have roots and survive on rain water and the occasional spray if they appear dry. We'd never seen any before and succumbed to buying four, plus one little planted succulent. We've already named two of the succulents Turnip Ted (bottom right) and Hairy Harry (top left). No, of course we don't name all our plants: that would be silly ;-)
