After Sandy

First of all a BIG THANKYOU for all the concern and good wishes yesterday. I am glad to be able to report that Becks and Rob in New Haven and the Family here in Boston all came out from Sandy unscathed. My first hurricane and I shan't be sorry if it's my last!

We took the train into Boston this morning and apart from a few bits of debris you would not have known that a hurricane had come through. We followed the harbour walk and all sea craft seemed unscathed then we had a coffee stop at Quincy Market which I have never yet managed to blip successfully. The different food smells are incredible and you could eat almost anything there from the many food stalls, a place not to be missed on any Boston tour. After that we meandered through to meet up with Rog on his lunch break and we ate Chilean at a small and amazingly organised eatery. Rog went back to work and we walked down to the Prudential Tower and took the elevator up 50 floors to look at the Skywalk view which is where my blip is taken from, fabulous!
Tonight we are going back into Boston to eat at Legals Seafood on the waterfront!
Then tomorrow it's another half day in Boston before heading back to finish our holiday with the kids in New Haven.
