......above the clouds......

A hard couple of days......we flew to Auckland yesterday and home today. We were with family which was lovely but very sad to.

Today we remembered hubby's dear sister who sadly left us 9 years ago on this day. She left behind two young daughters in their very early teens, their journey to this day has been challenging as they've come to terms with grief. 

Today we were able to support them, now beautiful young adults, as we laid to rest their dear mum, my lovely sister-in-law and hubby's sister in a beautiful garden surrounded by white roses. We shared memories, we laughed and shed tears but know this is where L would like to be.......she would be proud as punch of her beautiful young daughters.

Just typing this brings more tears.....I miss her dearly......
