Grumble alert!

Heat transfer, when I was at school, was, more or less:-
Conduction - by contact.
Convection - heat "rising", due to less dense, heated, medium.
Radiation - Can pass through vacuum - witness the Sun.
I can guarantee a right hearty GRUMBLE if my eyes light upon a statement quite as DAFT/inaccurate as . . . ."No noisy convection fans." WHAT?!?!? And this, supposedly, from heating experts?
