A Pottery Experience

As a wonderful xmas gift, G bought me a pottery workshop in two parts, and today was the first half. I'm sure I must have had a go when I was at school, but I couldn't remember it. We chose different methods for our pieces. My owl pot as shown in the Extra was made using the pinch pot method. We'll go back in a couple of weeks to glaze them (providing we didn't get air in and they survive the firing) and hopefully produce another item too. 

We both thoroughly enjoyed the 2.5 hour session and the time just flew by. What a fab present!!! We met the potter Keri at the Open Studios event at her place in Sheringham last year and I bought one of her lovely clocks which you can see here https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2316256182215377784
