Day 2 - Purple Week

Day 2 of my project to photograph the colour purple, and I found the abiding question was; what counts as purple? As my eye roamed purply burgundy, purple pink.... So little is definitively purple. Colour is very much an arbitrary thing, and culturally dependent. A number of countries have two different 'blue' colours, for example. 

This is from the cherry blossom, one of the branches I brought into the house, and it looks beautiful.
