The Little Mermaid

We were promised plenty of rain and strong winds and that's what we got here in West Essex, so going out and capturing street portraits (today's MM challenge) as not on my to do list.  I did eventually have to venture out when we picked up Violet from nursery this evening to have a sleepover with us as her mummy is on a course all this week.
Violet's current favourite activity is trying on her various fancy dress outfits: she has quite a few and very frequent costume changes are the order of the day.  Here she's wearing a Little Mermaid themed swimming costume - at least long enough to let me take a couple of shots!
