Mechanical

This is my entry for the WidWed challenge, the theme this week being mechanical.  I went across to the Leeds Industrial Museum to blip textile machinery, but I ended up wishing I'd gone to Bradford instead as I like the feel of the place so much more.  This is a shot of a Spinning Mule, used to spin cotton and other fibres from the late 18th to the early 20th century.  If I'd got there 10 minutes earlier I'd have seen this one running but it's something that is only done a couple of times a week;  it was no real loss though, I found my visit very underwhelming.  I don't know what the extra is but I thought it looked interesting.

Thank you for visiting my journal and for the comments and stars, they're all very much appreciated.
