Church Lane

A quick blip on my early morning walk of the former Methodist Church that was deconsecrated in the 1980’s when the diminishing congregation joined with the Presbyterians down the road at St Andrews and became the Uniting Church .It has since been a restaurant or retail store of various themes most which would have the Methodists turning in their graves. The latest owners spent a lot of money on the gardens and inside along with some other shops they had acquired but they have all closed. It seems the tax man is closing in.I gave it some yesteryear treatment and the extra shows its true colour.

On to much brighter things. The Tiny Tuesday entries did not disappoint. With no theme there were a wide range of subjects. I can see that spring has arrived in the northern hemisphere with flowers and insects in abundance. There is a sense of humour amongst the macro photographers see Doyley22  here

I learned about the significance of the 1 May here from tookie.

However I have gone for the more quirky in my choice of heart winners.

See you all next week. Again no theme so open slather. Although there were some hiccoughs in my computer work the best part was seeing all those macro photos and meeting so many new Blippers enjoying tiny things.
