Preparations

Preparing for the new seating area, for an improved path, for a summer of Sweet Peas, for my Mum's visit, for tomorrow's plant show.  It's been a day of moving things on ... and just moving things!

Gravel ordered for the two big outdoor jobs.  Membrane on it's way and plastic retaining grids already here.  All being well by the end of next week the jobs will be completed.  Planted out another load of Sweet Pea plants and ordered train ticket for Mum.  This afternoon I spent a couple of hours loading trestles and table tops into two vans for onward transportation to Wymondham where the annual Alpine Plant Show takes place tomorrow (Saturday ... at the high school on Folly Road if you're a local blipper.)

Add in a visit from Jacinta's sister who came for lunch before the sisters went off to visit their mum in hospital plus later we attended the Confirmation Mass at church and it's been a day well spent :-)

Pulsatilla caucasica, smaller and less showy than the other species I grow but still a beauty.
