Bye Bye Broome

Sadly our holiday is at an end and we are heading back to Sydney. At least it’s a 4 hour direct flight this time instead of taking all day.

This morning we took a last look at Cable Beach then went into town. Mr isbi returned to the museum and I checked out Yane Sotiroski’s gallery. He was the 2017 AIPP Landscape Photographer of the year. I thought his stuff was pretty fabulous, not that you could go too wrong with the subject matter around here.

I wandered around for a while taking a few street shots. The extra in the world’s oldest operating outdoor picture theatre. We would have liked to go to a show but there was nothing on that appealed to us and in any case our evenings were taken up with moon rises and sunsets.

We had a coffee before heading out to the airport which is about 3 minutes drive from the town centre. I wish it was always that easy.
