Tulip border, Princes Street Gardens

It's been a beautiful warm and sunny day in Edinburgh today, and Mr hazelh and I have made the most of it.

We were up bright and early to make a start on clearing out our big cupboard under the stairs. Then we popped out to meet Adrienne and Charles for brunch at Leo's. While we were there the bike shop texted to let us know that my bike was repaired and ready to be collected. Apparently all the recent punctures have been caused by a sharp little stone stuck in the back tyre.

Back home again we continued the big clear out. Once this was all done, we headed back outside to take a walk up to Princes Street, blip the tulips, and enjoy a Luca's ice cream in the sunshine.

When we returned home we thought that that would be the end of our fun for the day, but then we heard that Wiebke, Paul, Alexa, Darcie, Keith, Jackson and Erin were all firing up a barbecue in the park, so out we went again! 

It will be back to reality tomorrow with another trip to the hospital first thing...
