Fattoush?

It has been just another routine work day. I had the satisfaction of cycling to and from work again, although a bit of rain took the fun out of the return trip.

It has been a tiring day, mainly because I didn’t sleep well and woke up too early.

Apart from the cycling, dinner was the only highlight. Simple grilled (free range organic) chicken breast, mashed potato (made with smoked cheese and olive oil) and a wee salad.

The salad was an experiment, trying to recreate something I ate in Cyprus/Kıbrıs - a bit like fattoush. Tomato, red onion, mint, vinaigrette and sumac. It was good, but not quite right. More onion and less tomato next time... or I use a fattoush recipe.   

The salad got Blipped.
