Drifts of pink blossom

A meeting and driving filled most of the day. The meeting finished earlier than expected so I was home for 3.30pm with the worst part of the journey being the last 3 miles from J7 to home.

This gave us time for a walk before departing for our respective music activities, me to the Marmite Uke Jam and Susan to her guitar class.

Our walk took us through the Woodland Trust where this magnificent row of cherries were shedding drifts of pink blossom on the paths. Worth recording every year.
