Desperately seeking

Rheged

The day began by going to the studio to gather up the images and equipment we needed. It was set-up day today for the Northern Photographic and Video Show. The show runs over the weekend and features work by Cumbrian camera clubs as well as having trade stands. There are talks given throughout the weekend, including one by Thomas Heaton.

The Man and I went to the funeral of a friend in the late morning. So sad to be saying farewell to Patsy, but at the same time lovely to hear the story of the life of a lovely person. Bittersweet, I'm sure you know what I mean.

After lunch The Mate and I went along to Rheged to set up our stand. We thought we knew how the arrangement would go but, late yesterday we were given a larger area, but a different shape. Our two 6' tables had to go end to end, rather than behind and in front of our chairs.

OK! We are provided with the starchy white tablecloths, when the crowds come in the creases won't be noticed and in real-life the display looks so much better than this blip........ I think........ I hope!

We use this show to advertise photo courses, the use of our studio and it's potential for other photographers rather than trying to sell landscapes or cards, other people are doing that.

Hoping to see lots of people tomorrow!
