Tourists

We started in Scotsdales with breakfast and I purchased some cucumber plants for our daughter. Hers were killed by the frost when she was in London when our granddaughter was having surgery.

Then we went into town for a walk and coffee before going to Addenbrookes for my afternoon appointment. It was a pre-op for some minor repair work that will be carried out in June; it will require an overnight stay.

Today’s picture is of some tourists, near the Mathematical Bridge. Just after this was taken, one of them was almost run over by two bicycles. Some of the tourists do not seem to realise that roads in Cambridge are not just for them, but carry traffic in the form of bicycles, buses and cars. I have seen them step backwards into the road to get their photograph without a thought for what might also be using the road.
