Carnivorous Pitcher Plant

Had lunch with some friends today at their house and I was amazed at the garden which had a number of unusual things growing. This carnivorous pitcher plant (Nepenthes) caught my eye as the pitcher part is quite big and really fascinating and could definitely hold quite a variety of tasty bugs in there! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nepenthes

In the extra's is a shot of one of their paw paw trees which is loaded with fruit and although it's a tropical fruit it seems so healthy and happy here in the suburbs of Perth ;o). Our friend and his wife certainly have green thumbs!! Also a shot of their son M who is such a handsome fellow ;o)
